In 1976, David and Michelle Holzapfel opened Applewoods’ Studio and Gallery in the southern Green Mountains of Vermont.

Their handmade/hardcarved funiture and vessels can be found in the collections of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, The Museum of Art and Design in New York, and the Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian Institution in addition to numerous businesses and private homes throughout North America.

2802 Route 9: 8 miles west of Brattleboro, 7 miles east of Wilmington/Mt. Snow area.
Summer hours: Thursday through Monday from 10 am to 4 pm.
Other seasons: whenever the OPEN sign is up.
