Turned and carved from single Walnut log; 15” high, 8” diameter.
An adaptation of the traditional linenfold motif. Note how the ‘linen’ carved from the naturally lighter outer rings of sapwood contrast with the deep brown heartwood of inner vessel, which was also stippled for textural contrast.
